Elected Representatives

The elected representatives of the Grama Panchayat are members of the governing body directly elected by the people. The governing body consists of the President, Vice President, Chairpersons of various Standing Committees, and Ward Members.The elected representatives play a crucial role in the planning and implementation of the Panchayat’s development activities, welfare schemes, infrastructure development, and public services. They act as an important link between the people and the Local Self-Government Institution by bringing local needs and issues to the attention of the governing body and taking the lead in finding appropriate solutions.
